Owner, Operator, CNHP
Dee Baudoin is a Master Herbalist and Certified Natural Health Professional (CNHP). Her training includes studies in Nutrition, Body Systems, Iridology, Advanced Homeopathy, Child Nutrition, Advanced Anatomy, Advanced Physiology, and Chinese Herbology. Additionally, Dee regularly attends seminars, webinars, and health conferences in order to stay ahead of the curve on cutting-edge research in naturopathic care.
What started as a home-based health consulting business in Lafayette, Louisiana, over a decade ago has evolved into two full clinics reaching thousands of clients throughout the United States and internationally. Dee has worked with clients of all ages through depression, weight loss, ADHD, heavy metal and chemical detoxification, viral, bacterial, and parasitic issues, vitamin and mineral deficiencies, and chronic illnesses.
Dee’s passion for healing comes from her own health challenges that began when she was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis in her early twenties. Rather than taking the two prescriptions of chemotherapy recommended, Dee decided in faith to follow the recommendations of an herbalist and take a natural approach to healing. After 6 months of natural wellness and therapies, Dee’s health issues were completely resolved and her body fully restored. After witnessing first-hand what natural wellness was able to do for her own life and health, Dee was compelled to share this gift with others.
For Dee, Health Matters is not just a business, but a ministry. Dee and her husband, Aldon, feel called to reach the body of Christ with a message of hope and health by addressing not only physical needs but emotional and spiritual needs as well. As a pastor’s wife, it comes second nature to Dee to apply Biblical principles to everything she does, and this includes her practice of health and wellness. Second only to The Lord, Dee and Aldon find their greatest joy in their three precious children—AJ (19), Ann Louise (16), and William (13).
Aldon has been married to Dee for twenty-eight years. In his twenties, Aldon was diagnosed with Epstein Barr Virus by a medical doctor. At that time there was no known remedy for this condition, but with the help of a trusted herbalist his health was fully restored. Over the years he has seen his wife, Dee, help countless clients through the use of herbs, vitamins, and minerals.
Aldon currently advises both office locations managing programs, product lines, and business practices and procedures.
